Permission to Do Weird Stuff: For those with an internal longing to live life differently.

I can hear my families sigh or “tut tut” as I start to talk about an idea. It’s almost like a thought bubble appears above their heads saying “here she goes again”.  I get it; I go off on these “adventures” as I like to call them, even when they have warned me that it’s too risky or what the consequences might be. I hear them I really do, but I do it anyway.

As I go through these experiences, falls and restarts, I also wonder what others must think of me at times. I do worry that surely my friends and community can’t possibly take me seriously anymore. But what can look like chaos from the outside (sometimes from the inside too), has always felt like possibility to me.

My path is not a linear one, and I do not want it to be. My path is not one that society expects me to take; I tried that too and stumbled every time. What I did find, were opportunities for growth, never failure.

This is my purpose, my human design, it’s written in the stars: to have the trials and tribulations, experience life in different ways, problem solve each reinvention, and share my experience with you, hopefully making a difference in the lives of others.

At the very least, I hope you get a giggle out of watching my life unfold. I know I do! And this is your permission to chase a dream, change your mind or reinvent yourself – as many times as you like.
